Staying within our college theme this week, we
have a perfect resource to eliminate fear for incoming college soccer
players. It’s called The Family Guide for the College Soccer and
Scholarship Journey. Although the author doesn’t write for us any
longer, Jon is a good friend of The Administrator and one of the
founding fathers.
The “Family Guide” is a helpful resource to take the next step beyond youth soccer. This is a difficult journey and many parents don’t know where to start. Coaches may not have all the necessary college connections. Or your DOCs might need a helpful resource to give to aspiring players. The “Family Guide” can help fill those gaps.
One of the best parts of the guide is its authenticity; the
author lived what he teaches. It is the product of Jon’s experience
through the college soccer journey, where he had 40 college scholarship
offers, played at a top 10 DI school, recruiting class was ranked
3rd in the nation, and his recruiting class included US National and
professional players Clint Dempsey and Ricardo Clarke. There is also
feedback and interviews with current and former college players,
coaches, as well as club and professional players and coaches.
Check out the site if you want to know more.
